And I think the ever-changing nature, right, of the shifting landscape means again, shifting internal priority.

So I'll give you an example.

We had a lot of changes happening at Coursera across our various teams and we got assigned a new set of engineering partners.

And that new set of engineering partners are brilliant at what they do, but they don't they've not worked on SEO before.

Now some of them I think could be

Uh SEOs themselves, but they it takes time, right, to upscale that team.

And so one of the things I told my SEO manager who was working with them is look, we can't depend on this team to lead the technical work.

That's gonna be you.

But I also think that given that we don't know how long this team is going to be assigned to us, our best bet is to get as much self serve development done as possible.

So if I know that we can drive business impact doing a core set of SEO activities, and I know that I'm limited to deploy those activities in a scaled manner, then focus on how will I do the thing I know, no matter how bananas the world is.

There are some foundations of SEO that hopefully will never change because the reason why they're there is to really serve the searcher that

If we know we can dial in there, make sure that we can do that a thousand percent by ourselves, no dependencies, or like most minimal dependencies.

Ooh, wow, that's a good question.

And I think it's for me, it might be a little bit of an innate skill.

I'm just a hyper absorbent human being.

I don't know where does it come from anxiety?

Does it come from like a world of I don't know, just like always monitoring, or is it come from learning a lot constantly, always every day?

So I take in a lot more information than most people.
