And so we've tried to do that.
We brought a couple guys from Mountain View with us and and we hired this really other great guy named Marcus Whippy, who's kind of been around high school basketball and he's a great trainer.
And so, you know, we're still looking for one more, but I think staff
is everything.
They make me look good and and I get the credit because that's my name as the head coach.
But I I will never take credit for how well we do.
It will always be my staff.
To win it.
To win state championship my first year.
Um, you know, Orm High you know, as as much history as they've had, they've only won one one state championship, you know, in their seventy five years.
Um, two thousand twelve, my my buddy Dalton Nixon.
And uh I'm a competitive guy.
You know, and and having that little taste of some s some success that we had at Mountain View, we did some things at Mountain View that haven't been done in in ten plus years.
You know, we we we upset one of my buddies, Mark Miller at Codwood in the second round.
They w they weren't happy and then we almost beat Dixie in the quarters.
And so getting back to Weber State and and having the kids, you know, taste that
It it got m me energized to being like, I wanna win it now.
And so one of the things that you asked is you know what
you know, what are some of the expectations or what do I want to do?
I want to win it my first year.
