Well, and I think that's super important.
And I and I tell this and and it's the same way I'll talk to my kid, um, Brixton, is you know, maybe I'm his coach, maybe I'm not his coach.
But at the end of the day, I tell these parents, I wanna have a relationship with your kid.
That I want them to come talk to me.
Now if I shun them away.
And this kid comes, Hey coach, how do I get more playing?
Uh I'll just work harder.
You know, that's just generic thing, and I don't sit down with this kid and and talk to him.
Then I believe the parent can come and say, Hey dude, my kid came and talked to you like a man and you shunned him away.
So now I gotta step in.
Because I believe if the coach can have a relationship with the kid and just say, Hey, this is what I'm seeing.
Maybe it's the effort and practice.
Maybe it's hey, you just keep having tons of turnovers or any of all these other things that might come up.
Is that way the kid should go back to his parents and be like, this is what the coach is saying for me.
Okay, great.
Because if if the kid's not going back and talking to his parents, all the parents sees is an hour and a half basketball game.
They don't see the 15 hours a week that we put in with the kid who might not be hustling, who might be last in the conditioning lines, who might not be giving the effort.
They don't see that.
That's why it's important one to establish it with the kid.
And then outside of that, you have to be aligned with the player, the parents, the admin, um your coaching staff.
