Like, dude, you're gonna be hated again.
And and I thought to myself, you know, you're you're probably right.
And for whatever reason was, um, it just was is drawing drawing to me.
Um, like I said, my dad coached there, and I didn't want to coach high school basketball.
So a year and
into my first year high coaching high school basketball, my dad died.
Um had a stroke.
And, you know, his his last game he got to watch um about two weeks before he passed away.
You gotta watch his son coach something he did for 40 years.
And so now coming back home, you know, there's there's it's it's a little bit meaningful to me.
But I I can assure you, I didn't make some people, you know, probably frustrated at me, maybe even dislike me.
But the hardest part was the kids.
You know, parents, they're gonna love you, they're not gonna like you, but the but the kids, that was hard.
And one of the things I wanted to do
do is I made sure I sat down with those kids individually at times and um told them how much I loved them and tried to, you know, walk through it with them.
And and you got, you know, we played Mountain View this year, you know, on December 11th.
And you got guys like, you know, Ryder Draper, who's, you know
Texting me, I'm dropping forty on you.
You know, a kid like Aiden Peterson who's a great golfer, you know, I um
You know, I'm I'm just excited to to to play these guys, but you know, my time at y as orm is now and and it was not easy, but I'm uh I've loved it so far.
