It's called escape behavior.

When you have a trauma, say you're

PTSD, say you're a soldier from Iraq and you come home and you've lived in fear of your life for, say, a year.

Well, it doesn't just go away.

And you try to get rid of it, but it's inside you.

Escape behavior, alcohol, drugs, sexual affairs, violence, I mean, all of those things.

So I think the discipline kept me kind of, kept me together, you know.

Oh, yeah, for sure.

While I was abused, not really.

I didn't have anybody.

I was too little.

I was kind of isolated.

My mom, she was also abused, so she was beaten, so she didn't tell me.

But as I got older, I had my karate instructor, I would say.

Later, my acting coach.

And I've had other people like that who I've looked up to, especially my karate instructor, because I started with him when I was 15.

So I was just on that edge where my dad, you know, at some point I started growing and he's like, oh, I'm going to end up in a fight with this kid, you know, got to get him out of here.

So he sent me to his parents, to my grandparents.

So I was way in northern Sweden.
