I've met a lot of people.
And, you know, there's been positive and negative things.
Obviously, with some people, you don't want to... You know, there's some things that are private that you just don't mention in the book.
Other things I chose...
to maybe talk about it a little bit, you know, because it was kind of illuminating to people that hadn't been around in the 80s and Studio 54 or something like that and wanted to kind of hear what it was like.
So it would open up about some things.
Not for me, because I was going out with a famous singer at the time, Grace Jones, who was friends with Steve Rebellion, who was the owner.
We got in pretty easy.
But there was a story in the New York Times, famous article, when they didn't let Cher in one day early on, that's when it kind of made the headlines.
Whether it was true or not, I don't know, but it was in the papers.
But there were a lot of people outside.
And apparently, once the rebelle opened, he had like 500 people outside and like 10 people inside.
And he wasn't making any money, but he knew.
He knew that those crowds eventually...
everybody would want to come in.
And, and of course, you know, once Mick Jagger and everybody else, Michael Jackson, everybody showed up.
I, I met a lot of those people.
It was, it was interesting for me.
You know, did you dance?
Oh yeah, sure.
