And, and obviously, you know, you're, you're getting pretty excited when you see this guy's back and, and then you, then you get to meet him and all the, all the right personal thing.
Like I said, he's a gentleman.
He's a, he's a guy that presents himself exactly the right way, respectful, coachable.

They went through a few coaches after Terry left, and he was close with Terry in short order.
And obviously he was just anxious to have a chance to win, and he did everything he could not just for himself but to elevate his teammates and make us help really start the foundation of the re-foundation, if you will, rebuild of the foundation that has some success.
uh you know get involved with it's the relationships that really matter when it's sending players to the next level what was that like for you and for him well when we when we were sure that the best path was was juco uh and and certainly knew that there was much more to go after that we wanted to make sure that you know we were in the right place with them and and
I started coaching high school in about 1995, and my defense coordinator out in northeastern Pennsylvania was a guy named Steve Duda, and his brother Mark still is the head coach at Lackawanna.
So I trust Mark.
You talked about a father figure.
I trust Mark with any player, and I knew that Jaquan was the kind of guy that was going to do exactly what he needed to do and be a business-like player for him.
And I knew that Mark would hold him to that standard.
And I knew that it would be a great fit for him.
And I'm sure Jaquan knew it and everybody that was advising him from all circles sort of realized that that was the best fit.
And he did exactly that.
There were things he had to do.
He did them.
He exceeded them and made himself a recruitable guy at the level that he ended up being.
