One is that poor performance is made up of two things.

One is chaos, and two is real performance or work issues.

So I think until you get rid of the chaos and make what you have work, it's hard to see exactly what those pieces are that you need, the big pieces that you need to fix.

At Harley, without getting rid of the chaos, you just end up with the big pieces.

And at Harley, we call these AFPs, another...

fine program, which we used another word besides fine, that came down with these big top-down blanket approaches, which rarely worked long-term.

Brett KenCairn, yeah i'll add a little bit on to that I think there's no question that this is going to cause.

Brett KenCairn, shifts in the workforce it's it's can help people be way more productive and it's going to replace people and it's going to be faster than it was with physical automation, but I think the mistake is.

The mistake is when people begin to think they can just replace people rather than enhance the work of the people they have and do it that way.

So my counsel would be,

As with everything else, what's the problem you're trying to solve?

If you want to be do AI because everyone else is doing AI and want to measure how much AI is, you're going to end up in a bad place.

But if you begin to use it to not just do repetitive work, but I think there is a role.

We know people who are doing stuff that totally rethink and

re-engineer, reinvent things that are hard to do now.

But I think those people start with solving a specific problem and focus on that instead of the problem being we need more AI.

I think that's going to lead many people down a bad path.

absolutely dan it's more than just knowing the business because that was didn't just happen to me on during a strike because i was on strike it happened to me in my career and i think what it gives you when you when you so-called get your hands dirty is not only knowledge of how things really work

But it gives you respect for the people that have to figure out how to get it done and fight through all the bureaucracy, the discontinuities, all this kind of stuff.

It gives you respect for the people that do it.
