I wasn't, I came from the old school, didn't really do that kind of thing, but I really liked what Snides did with that.
Just those are kind of two main things that I tried to bring.
And so that's kind of it, right?
Plus all the other experiences from other places.
And Snides is a little bit of a gambler, and I like that.
I like he takes chances and he's going for it.
So I want to take some of that.
Honestly, I'm probably more conservative and a little bit more played straight up.
But Snides is a little bit more of a gambler, and I liked it.
How has it been working with your son as the GM in Preston?
And what kind of GM is he?
It's been great, honestly.
I think when you come to Philly, Chris, as a GM, is probably more an assistant GM somewhere else because Dave Dombrowski is the president of baseball operations.
He's making the last call.
He's the one that called me.
It wasn't Preston calling me to see if I wanted to go to Philly.
But it's been great.
I think front offices are so much more now everywhere you go in the locker room.
