And it's afterwards.
It's a conversation, maybe not even that night, but the next day and said, I hope you understand trying to win a game there.
I don't want to take you out.
I know wins and losses don't mean as much as they used to.
But when you have veteran guys, I think they understand that, hey, we're here to win a game.
I had to do what I felt was the best decision to win that game.
That might not work out.
It may end up being a decision that you think is right, but it doesn't work out.
So, yeah, I think it's easier.
Maybe a little.
It's like I've always had this appreciation for Bryce because I love his swing and I love the intensity that he seems to bring to the batter's box.
You know, getting to know him a little better and his story growing up and how he came through so young.
I don't know if anybody's been that.
I mean, obviously there's been guys like that, but
It's just like, this is an amazing story.
This guy checks out of high school or tests out of high school after sophomore year and then leaves the country and goes to a school and breaks the home run record as basically a junior in high school.
I mean, some of the stuff he's done has been amazing, so...
Those are the things I've learned.
