I expected more for a quarterfinal.
I expected them to go down kicking, screaming, and it just whimpered out, which isn't a great way to be.
I know a lot of people were probably relieved that the season's over because it's been a tough one.
But overall, I think when you get to kind of quarterfinals, you have to find something more than Munster had there.
And like we've seen Munster do that before, go on the road with that team under Graham Rountree and Peter O'Manning go over there and bop.
I've always said it here, Tommy, I can live with results.
I just didn't see probably a reflection of want as much as you'd like it.
And I hate saying that about the lads, but, you know.
Every excuse is there if you want, and I'm going to be really harsh on the players, if you want to hide behind them.
Like I remember brilliant leaders I would have had, like Anthony Foley would have spoke about them, would have spoke about the travel, would have spoke about the different things and said, we're not using them.
You know what I mean?
They're there for the week.
You know what I mean?
They're for the checkouts, the easy out.
If we're going to,
go a little bit beyond that and look at you I'm not trying to say like we did every time there's plenty of days where you fall short and they stick with you but I'd like to think that Munster team instead of being relieved to be on their break that they're a bit scorching you know what I mean I'd love to hear fellas bullying to get back in like not everyone has played a whole lot of game time you know what I mean I know players and player welfare is massive but I
I'd love to hear fellas are banging on the door.
I was listening to Lancaster and pretty much saying he's taking no break because it's going to be too busy.
The players are going to get five weeks.
Fuck it.
