Because his resume is pretty bad, Patrick Graham, and he's walking into a situation where he's going to inherit the highest paid defense in the NFL and the expectation right away is to win playoff games.

I don't have any real reason to be confident in him.

I know, but he's been at three stops as a defensive coordinator, three of them.

He was last in the league in Miami.

He was 23rd in the league in his last year with the Giants and then the Raiders.

Now,

I get it, maybe those are three rough stops, but his resume as a defensive coordinator simply looking at the numbers is objectively bad.
