You may eventually hit a dud.
that's a problem that i'm willing to worry about almost like a we'll cross that bridge when we get there because that tells me that they figured things out on the offensive side and they do have a good offense this guy is getting head coaching looks and that would also tell me that maybe they figured out the quarterback position
Then it's ultimately more attractive for other offensive minds to come in here and be the coordinator thinking, I could take that same route that Nate Sheilhaus did.
I know it's not ideal, and I think the perfect scenario you work yourself into now is a Ben Johnson type of thing, a Sean McVay type of thing.
You have the great offensive mind as the head coach, so you never have to worry about making that switch.
But I'm not going to use that as a reason to not have both of those guys on the staff and think, well, Sheilhaus is going to be out of here in a few years.
I know.
I just don't want to wind up.
That would tell me that the offense has turned a corner in a big way.
I think he's higher on the Steelers list than on the general fan list.
My guess is still going to be Shula.
That's who they end up with.
But I certainly think Weaver is in the top three.
I would say...
it's Shula, Sheilhaus, Weaver, and then you get to like a Mike McCarthy.
But I get the feeling that Weaver β
has been somebody under the radar this whole time.
People are kind of pushing aside, oh, the Dolphins, D.C., nothing really special about him.
I get the feeling, though, that they're higher in that building than what the general consensus is.
I just think it's very difficult for that to happen nowadays with just the wave of social media.
