So we were just launching them and the New York show was massive and sold out and filled the Javits Center.
And so there were all these other shows kind of incubating and germinating as a function of a wait list that was growing then.
Well, in the end, it was 20 years, actually.
The first 10, I was working on new business development.
The second 10, and there was a five-year period in between where they moved me out to California.
I launched a California West Coast office.
And then I came back and I ran New York.
I mean, I think the reason I stayed there so long is that the company ran 40 shows.
That was back when there was a gift show kind of in every major place.
Market.
In every major market.
Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, L.A.
They were all over.
Yes, I was traveling a lot.
Then?
I mean, I was in my 30s, so physically it wasn't hard.
I did have small children, so that was hard.
But anyway, it was exhilarating, and I loved it.
And also, it was a closely held...
third generation family business that was very invested in all of these other sort of generational family businesses that they were working with as customers, right?
