They, I guess, only had to use three relievers yesterday.
Do we have a sense yet of how they'll try to navigate tomorrow's game?
Or is that so dependent on the ability for Corbin to give them length tonight?
Yeah, and that's, you know, no pressure, Corbin.
By the way, Josh Fleming is the starter today.
And I guess I was going to say listed starter, but that's an 11 a.m.
game.
So I guess he's not getting pulled from that one if he's still listed as the starter an hour from now.
So probably not Fleming in the mix for that one.
But, yeah, we'll see from there.
Ben, the other thing you mentioned, if the Jays get up 11-0, Corbin can pitch all day.
They have not been doing that.
And there have been some signs over the last two weeks that as a group the offense β
I won't say has turned it around or got going, but they've been average the last two weeks or so.
One thing that's really still...
been a struggle for them though is situational hitting they went over with runners in scoring position last night they had that big spot in the sixth where they get runners on second and third with nobody out and they're only able to bring one of those around they're down to 28th and weighted runs created plus with runners in scoring position 27th and slug what have you made of their struggles in general offensively but it seems to be you know disproportionately when they have a chance to get a rally going and have a big inning
And that's, it's a great point because, you know, big picture, you're right.
The data mostly backs you up that the water will settle to its level when it comes to situational hitting.
And I mentioned those ranks that the blue Jays are in weighted runs, creative plus, and slugging with runners in scoring position.
Well, they're not far off those rankings overall.
