Andy's always felt like a little Walsh.
It's psychology.
It's play design.
It's play calling.
What is Andy's great strength that I don't get to see in the meeting rooms?
I don't get to see at practice.
If you and I are sitting having a beer somewhere and I say, give me the scoop on Andy that I don't see on TV.
Where is his brilliance?
To me, his brilliance is in his communication.
And what I mean by that is he really communicates with every player.
He communicates with every coach on his staff, the personnel department.
He lets you know exactly where you stand within that organization, whether it's on the coaching staff or the players and all of that.
And so his communication...
uh... is is in it's it's the best and it's something that i tried to you know instill in in when i was in in philadelphia obviously in jacksonville with with the players and coaches but there's so much respect and love because number one he's the first one in the building he's going to be the last one out he's pouring and doing his due diligence to help this football team in kansas city where they did the same thing in philadelphia and and so a lot of times people don't see that and understand that but
He respects and loves his players so much and his coaches.
And this is why you see a lot of coaches move on to coordinator jobs and becoming a head coach.
And even here recently, coaches are coming back to his staff because they have that much respect for what he's done and how he's poured himself into these coaches, into myself as a coach, into me as a player when he coached me in Green Bay and Philadelphia.
