It did a really good job for me.
It didn't cost me anything up front, but they did all of the design and the concept.
Do they pay in advance?
No, no advance.
And I didn't, I wasn't looking for an advance.
I was really looking for the book as my calling card and to separate me from as a professional speaker.
If there's a guy that's got a book and a guy that doesn't have a book, I'm going to get the gig.
The conversation definitely doesn't sound like that.
Here are my fees.
And I basically say if my fee, let's say that I can determine from our conversation that my fee is going to be $10,000 from what they're looking me to do.
I'll say my fee is $10,000 to come out.
We really strongly recommend that you put a book in everybody's hands that's in that audience.
So if it's another 150 people that are in that audience at 20 bucks a piece.
I don't know what the math is.

$3,000.
So for $13,000 plus travel and expenses, you have me coming out doing a keynote for your audience.
So the books are on top of not swapping.
Right.
And I don't want to do any backroom sales.
