But envy doesn't see it that way.
Envy just sees the difference.
Envy just sees that, oh, he's got more than I do.
That's a problem.
Okay, just keying off my last point.
What Christians need to do is mortify envy in their own hearts and
ask their preacher, ask their pastor to preach a series of sermons on envy, it's one of the seven deadly sins.
And it really is deadly.
It is the thing that is tearing our country apart right now.
It is the fuel on which communism runs.
There is no way that communism can function in a society that is relatively free from envy.
And America historically was a place where when someone succeeded and surpassed you by a large margin, it used to be that that was considered an inspiration.
That was admired.
That was applauded.
But now we say, oh, he's part of the 1%.
