But you've got a few gamblers if you like out there, a few organizations, delisted is one that I know of, that they'll buy those shares off you.
So you physically sold them, you transferred across to them.
So then you realize the loss.
But generally, you've got to pay them to take it off your hands.
And then they run...
They run the gamble to say, well, maybe they get resurrected and they return and they find a way to come back from, yeah.
Yeah, without doubt.
A lot of our advice over the years was, no, don't have it in the company structure.
Have it in your own name or your spouse's lower income's name or you have it in a trust.
Trusts were very popular in terms of holding investments because they can flow through with that 50% CGT discount.
So you've got the scenario where, okay, it's 30%.
Now, small companies, their tax rate is actually 25%.
But it jumps to 30% if...
you earn more than 20% in passive income.
So you could have your business income at 81%, your passive income at 19%,
You could get that at 25%.
So it could be a small little win there, depending on what the capital gain is and everything else as well.
But it's all these factors that come into play.
So before the budget, no, don't invest in the companies.
Think about other structures.
