Appearances
That's a big priority for us.
We're not trying to, you know, just increase girth of the number and then you kind of lose like that normal appearance that we're all used to.
Well, I will say that I have seen issues from patients who come to see me for second and third opinions.
Those are usually providers that are using a large volume all at once.
And they're using hyaluronic acid that may be fine in some applications, but the molecules are just far too large and uneven.
Like Juvederm is not a great hyaluronic acid to be using in this area.
We use something much more fine called Revanus Versa.
And but whenever it's done, at least in our hands, you know, we published our data on this, you know, looking at hundreds and hundreds of patients that we treated over the course of several years.
The only side effects that we noticed is in two men, they had superficial skin infections.
because they didn't listen to our post-op instructions and they went home and had sex with their partner less than 24 hours later and they were just treated with antibiotics and you know they did fine and so um it can be exceedingly safe and as you know hyaluronic acid is you know reversible with hyalinex you just have to make sure that you're going to some place that you know uh has their wits about them and you know prioritizes your safety and outcomes
I'm not saying that I haven't seen good results with fat.
The problem is that when we're trying to pick a procedure and stick with that, what we need is reproducibility.
And the thing is that you're an extremely healthy guy.
You have extremely good blood flow universally.
You've cared for your health better than 99.999% of humans in history.
And so...
And the problem is with fat grafting is the loss of blood flow to those fat graphs.
Because if you look at the average, you know, guy walking around America, even if he doesn't think he's that healthy, I mean, gosh, how many of us check our fasting insulins?
I mean, like insulin resistance and metabolic disease is almost ubiquitous amongst the American population.
And so that means that getting good blood flow to those fat graphs to maintain, if you look across a general population, it's a lot, it's much more of a dice roll, right?
