It's an easy transition, um body wash, lotions, things like that.
They're great for that.
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah.
So women are more complicated, as we know.
We have a menstrual cycle, we reproduce, we carry babies, and menopause is a natural part of our lifespan.
And many people are familiar now that 20 years ago we had this big trial called the Women's Health Initiative that prompted most doctors to take women off hormones.
And the issues were really about who we were treating and the kind of hormones we were using.
So we were using synthetic hormones at that time, particularly estrogen created from pregnant horses' urine.
It was called premarin, and it literally stood for pregnant mare's urine.
And it was not biochemically similar or identical to the estrogen that women.
made.
And we did this big study that showed an increased risk of breast cancer, heart disease, and a number of other scary factors that then prompted doctors to just pull women off hormones.
And in the recent years, that has completely changed.
Now we have started using bioidentical hormones, which means
Hormones that are the exact same biochemical configuration as what your body makes.
And the study on those hormones show something completely different.
You know, those hormones actually support women's bodies, really support cognitive health, brain health, reduce the risk of heart disease, strokes, and um can really optimize women's bodies.
And again, I think it's this.
Sort of downregulation that happens that actually tends to hit women a little bit harder.
