Yeah.
So peptides are a really cool class of um medications, subs slash supplements.
They're really their own class that are also naturally produced in our bodies.
And we've been using them quietly in medicine with elite athletes and for probably 30 years.
But
But more recently, more people have become interested in peptides.
And I think that there are multiple applications.
So peptides are usually used short-term, unlike hormones, and they will optimize some function in the body.
And I usually think of a few different categories that peptides can help with, and there's a number in each.
Category.
So the first is body composition.
So Ozempic and the GLP ones were the proof of concept that peptides can meaningfully change body composition.
And now we have a number of other ones.
Inflammation, chronic inflammation, and injuries.
That has been a category that has been really helpful in my practice, where, you know.
Now if you have a chronic injury, your options are surgery, physical therapy, or long-term ibuprofen and tylenol, which are not good options for a lot of people.
You know, we we don't have any other options really to heal a chronic injury, a chronic rotator cuff, a um arthritic knee.
And
There are a number of peptides that have healing properties that can actually go in and make a substantial difference and actually start working on the root cause uh of the injury.
Um, BPC 157 is one of these.
