Yeah.

Exactly.

Yeah.

I read a lot of books.

I listened to a lot of videos and podcasts.

I read original papers.

I took courses.

It was honestly just curiosity that drew me to different things.

And I think some of it was for myself, where I knew that what I learned in medical school was not enough to feel I had a big life and I wanted to be able to feel good.

While doing it.

And I felt like medical school didn't teach me that.

You know, it taught me how to put a chest tube in if somebody has a pneumothorax, but I didn't have the tools to sustain my emergency medicine career, my hobbies, my exercise, my family, you know.

So I think I was kind of driven to there has to be more.

This has to be out there.

And slowly over.

Many years I kind of put things together.

Yeah, absolutely.

I got Lyme disease when I was actually a resident.

And it really kind of turned my life upside down.
