I do.
I have ADHD, adult diagnosed, but this topic is really close to home for me and lots of personal experiences driving this conversation for sure.
So I think, you know, certainly on the surface, ADHD causes some initial challenges for so many folks, but there are certain areas where an ADHD brain certainly has some advantages.
One of the things we know through the research is folks with ADHD tend to be better at divergent thinking.
So in English, that means they can think in a more varied way, a lot more creative problem solving, seeing things that other people don't when they're presented with a problem, which in travel, as you know, is a really big deal, right?
Totally.
And I know where every Apple store is in every city I've ever traveled to because I've forgotten my charger.
So yes, we've had very similar experiences.
The other thing about ADHD brains is they like a lot more stimulation.
So they might be more of a risk taker.
Choose more non-traditional travel options.
Choose a wider variety of places to go and things to see.
And finally, the tendency to hyper-focus.
This one is a really big one for me.
If I'm going to research somewhere I want to go, I'm going deep.
I'm going to look at everything I can.
I'm going to research the discounts.
I'm going to find the most interesting ways to travel and really book the events that I think are going to be most interesting.
