And that's what we want to be thinking about.
And as I said earlier, to go back to that idea of control, it's so important, giving them that sense of control.
Yeah, that's such a good point that you've made because
Taking a penalty, it's not a particularly challenging task.
particularly for a professional player, as you said, in training, if you were to ask them to go out there and do a few penalties, they'll probably be successful in nine out of 10.
Now, it is a challenge because if you think about it, going back again to training, you know, ordinarily when you're playing as part of a team, you're sharing that responsibility.
The focus is sort of shared between players.
And now you go into that penalty situation and all of the focus is on you.
And you don't have the support of, yeah, sure, they're there behind you, but they can't help you with that task.
And suddenly everybody's focus is in on that one individual player.
That's challenging.
And you can imagine as well, if you haven't kind of prepared for it, that's even more challenging.
So we've got to kind of acknowledge that.
And then what we want to think about is, okay, what is going to be our plan for this penalty?
So
say a pre-shot routine can be really effective.
So this is where we would work with and work with the individual player, because everybody's going to be different.
We want to kind of figure out, okay, how are they approaching this?
So some players would have what we call kind of escapist behaviors,
where they're thinking, I don't really want to do this.
