You know, maybe they watch the same TV shows as me.

Actually, we have a huge amount in common.

We just vote differently.

That's like one thing.

And so if we can change the weights of each of these factors, then we can realize that these people are a lot more complex than we'd like to think.

And they're closer to us than we really like to believe, honestly.

I think in certain situations, yes.

My perspective on social media and digital interaction is generally negative.

I think that people would be happier if we didn't have the internet and social media and stuff.

And there's a bunch of evidence that when social media happened...

People became more depressed and anxious.

And when people stop using social media for a period of time, they become less depressed and anxious.

But I do think that the amazing thing about social media is it's a global networking tool.

You can connect with anybody anywhere in the world.

That's special.

Also, I do think that there are certain circumstances where it can be really valuable.

the only interactions they feel really, truly comfortable in are virtual interactions.

And so that is incredible that a tool exists that can allow and enable those interactions.
