It's a, it's a huge difference.
And I don't think again for Denver, the like, I don't think they needed to overhaul this and be a top 10 team in three point volume.
I didn't feel like the volume was the issue.
So much as I felt in the playoff series, it's like, okay, you just have to hit the shots.
Take them.
And then defensively, you can't give up 40 open threes a game as well if you're not going to take a bunch.
But right now, if it was that Thunder series...
I would feel so much more comfortable with the way they were guarding Denver, knowing a handful of these guys can make them pay.
I even wonder just because like the defense didn't really end up being the problem in the playoffs.
It wasn't amazing, but it was fine.
It was fine.
It was really their half court offense in that OKC series and the injuries.
Of course, I almost wonder if you just had Tim Hardaway in that series.
Does it go a bit differently?
So just but just knowing you have those options and it's not all about non-Jokic minutes.
It's about the different lineups you can put around Jokic as you start to make substitutions.
And like, let's say it is a game where Christian isn't hot and they're guarding him a certain way.
put Tim Hardaway Jr.
in there.
And so I'm excited to see hopefully this like confidence boost for them doing it without full strength will just kind of trickle into when they're healthy.
