So I get out one of the needles to show him and he faints in the consult.
I was like, oh, my gosh.
Okay, that was a mistake.
I should not have shown him the needle.
I have learnt.
Don't show me needles.
Yeah, I've got a lot of people that come despite having needle phobia, very low pain tolerance, you name it.
Sometimes I'm just like, oh my God, seriously, you don't need to be here.
You don't have to be here.
But we have lots of little tricks.
I use a thing called Buzzy Bee.

Anyway, back on track.
So this is made by a pain specialist in the US and it vibrates at a frequency which travels on the same nerves as pain.
It's amazing, great for kids when they're scared of needles and you put it near your injection site and it does decrease what they feel but also is a great distractor and I find that brilliant for people who feel a bit vasovagal or faint as well.
