And this is way before 2022, which is why, why I wonder how much gold actually sits, you know, in London or in New York.
Um, and so, so for a long time, it was like, oh, nobody cares.
Right.
Cause gold at that time was, you know, thousand, 2000 announced or something like that.
Right.
So nobody cared.
Right.
So then the war happens.
And obviously what should have happened was gold should have just absolutely skied and all that uncertainty.
Right.
And and silver as well and oil and all that.
The exact opposite.
All those things happen.
So markets.
Right.
But our trade data just came out.
And so for January and February and for March, we've never exported more gold ever in our history, probably representing 10 to 11 million ounces, depending on how you score the spot price during that period.
and that's a huge number yeah and where did that go that was actually our number one export even more than oil right like it's a pretty big deal so um we're hemorrhaging our gold as if we don't care and i you get back to china i wonder if that wasn't a quid pro quo hey you know you're gonna do this war thing we'll help you but we don't want to pay 5 000 an ounce for your gold we'll give you four or something like that that could be part of the deal so this is gold held by the federal government
