So genetically, some dogs have a mutation or maybe they were the original that they can eat some grapes and they're okay.
Now, this does not mean you can do a wait and see approach.
Yeah, you cannot give them grapes or raisins.
It causes kidney damage, sometimes permanent kidney failure, but the symptoms don't show up for weeks.
So if you go, I'm going to wait and see if my dog's one of those mutants that can handle grapes, and then a week later he starts to get sick...
