Appearances
With when it comes to anger management, for example.
It's not about what do you do once you lose your cool.
And and of course when you lose your cool, your adrenal is going up so high that you're really just acting or reacting and you're not able to function the way that you need to and your willpower's out the door.
It is about that interoception that you're talking about.
To become aware of yourself is a skill and it's a habit.
And it it I think it becomes really kind of automated once you get into the habit of doing it.
So the metaphor that I use is
I'm Italian and and when my grandmother taught me how to make spaghetti sauce, she said, You can never, you can never let it burn.
Like it's it was like the biggest sin, you know?
So when I make it, I I might be doing anything.
And then after like five or ten minutes, I'm like, oh, I gotta check the sauce.
And it has become like so internally ingrained in me.
that I think, yeah, if if people are able to notice what's going on for them in their chest, how how tight it is, or you know, like how excited you are, that can definitely add to the adrenaline.
It's a habit that you can get into.
So the interplay
Is something that also happens so quickly, so automatically that that yeah, people are not aware of it.
It could be, for example, okay, I really need to get some wins.
I want to feel good.
And of course, you know, there's a big difference between trading to make money versus trading to feel something.
So, but anyway, even if you're trading to make money and you have been doing all that well, you're like, okay, I really got to have a good day.
