There are other, you know, mild kinds that are produced that do good things.
But the point I wanted to come back to is that
Again, the more of these chemicals that we produce, the better, and the bigger are our muscles, the more of these chemicals we produce.
One of the biggest risk factors we have for developing Alzheimer's is loss of muscle, sarcopenia.
When our muscles shrink as we get older, and I will tell you from firsthand experience, it's harder to keep muscle mass as you get older.
But as we do that, we have less and less ability to make those really wonderful brain supportive chemicals that I just described.
You know, it's why we don't want to forget leg day.
Leg day, leg muscles are the biggest muscles in your body, and they produce these chemicals.
And I want to say one other thing that came to mind when you were talking a moment ago.

I think people don't realize how much work is involved in doing the tasks that you do.
Getting ready for your podcast, reading the information, being ready on time, putting in your schedule.
You have three boys and writing books and doing all this stuff.
It takes a lot.
And so good on you for being that mom that you are and doing all the other things that you do because it's challenging.
But I will say it's good for you.

And I can't tell you how many times parents ask me, you know, what am I going to do?
