Not that antibiotics shouldn't be used.
Of course, they should when they are appropriately indicated.
But the
we're all well aware of the fact that probably around 50% of the antibiotic prescriptions in America weren't called for.
A and B recognize that 80% of the antibiotics manufactured in America are not used in humans, they're used in animals to make them fat, the animals that we eat, to make the cow fat.
to make the pigs fatter, and chickens.
They are given antibiotics to plump them up.
And those antibiotics are in the food that we then eat if we eat those animals.
So something to think about.
That said, there's a lot for that postmenopausal woman if she's not going to be, I think, recommended to use hormone replacement therapy to do as I outline, well, more than outline, as I describe in detail in the book.
So it's a fascinating question, and I'm so glad that you raised that question because we should all be talking about that.
