Because you can be sure that it's really quite clear that

pharmaceutical industry is realizing, hey, as it relates to Alzheimer's, it's not beta amyloid.

We can stop trying for that brass ring and let's look at what else we can do.

And there's been an incredible shift in pharmaceutical research looking at, okay, what can we do to keep those microglia in their M2 supportive configuration through using a drug?

And in fact,

You know, it may be that there's a drug that is able to do that.

It may be that rapamycin or metformin is able to do that.

Or some of the experimental things like we put in the book, RNS-60 is an experimental input that might affect microglia very positively.

We know that flashing a light in someone's eyes at 40 hertz, 40 times per second, is actually reverting microglial cells back to being supportive and associated downstream with lower amyloid levels.

So much of the work has been done in the rodent, but now there's human research in Alzheimer's patients.

This is work

from Dr. Li-Wei Tsai at MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, very well respected.

When you go to the conferences and people say, hey, put on these goggles, we're going to give you some 40-inch light.

Hey, there's science behind it.

There's a company in California called OptoCeutics that makes a product that people can buy.

I have one on my desk.

at home that when I'm working, that light is on and you don't really know it's flashing, but it's doing good things.

So there's a lot of fascinating places where we're going to go real soon, next few years, that I think is going to really open up the door to

being far more therapeutic.

But for now, the focus is prevention.
