And that's got like massive like bony lesions.

It's got like broken ribs, broken vertebrae, broken toes.

And that really modifies what you're looking at.

So it becomes harder to be like, oh, is that definitely an Allosaurus?

Yeah, yeah.

So great question.

So sometimes it's really hard to tell.

Other times you might have direct evidence in some of these fossil skeletons where you actually have, say, a broken bone that's rehealed.

or it's a broken bone and it's not re-healed, and that might be the result of, say, a predator attacking it.

Other times, you can tell kind of on... Say, let's say we had a T-Rex.

T-Rex died, and over time, the geology has kind of affected it, and it might be cracks running through it.

If you have that experience, you can tell quite well that, yeah, clearly that's a break due to geology or whatever.

But it's quite rare, generally speaking, to find...

the direct evidence of say pathologies, or in this case, you kind of, you have evidence of like mating of animals with its last meals preserved, all that sort of stuff, which is, which I find absolutely fascinating.

Cause it's like, you kind of think like, I often get asked that, this is quite a novel approach to kind of the story of dinosaurs' paleontology.

Cause you're looking at direct evidence of behaviors and you think, how the hell can you get behavior from a rock?

And it's like you just have to look at the extraordinary evidence that you have of last meals of even some individuals that were pregnant.

Incredible stuff, really.

It tells you so much about these animals and their lives.
