Oh, I love it because I just feel like it's that kind of sense of just kind of clinging with your claws to the branch and sort of maybe also that sense of maybe being sort of slightly sort of topsy-turvy, upside down and just sort of, but also, you know, that sort of sense of the creature of the night.

So I think there's a lot of sort of darkness to this episode in Odysseus's life where he doesn't know whether he's going to live or die.

And in fact, if we're thinking about bats, when the suitors realize

way, way, way at the end of the Odyssey are described as being killed.

They go to the underworld squeaking like bats.

So we've got bats as kind of here as sort of maybe Odysseus is quite close to getting killed.

And it's just, he just gets out of it.

He gets onto Calypso's Island.

And of course, that is actually where we start the Odyssey.

We start the Odyssey right in the middle of the action.

And the kind of term we use for this is in medias res.

In the middle of the action, we start on Calypso's island.

So that story, that kind of narration that Odysseus has given us of his travels, it ends with the point that we started the Odyssey.

Exactly.

We switch out and he says, right, you know, I'm going to finish my story here.

And that's the point where we then kind of move from Odysseus's narration of his adventures into, OK, well, what happens next?

We are now sitting on the island of the Phaeacians.

We are as close as we think we can get to getting back to Ithaca.
