Of course, he kind of falls asleep.
You're in this kind of moment where you're transitioning between the fantasy world and then the world of Ithaca.
And when he wakes up, they've put him on the shore of Ithaca and they've put all of his treasure in a cave.
And a mist has kind of been cast over the land.
And at first, he's not really sure where he's got to.
And he thinks, oh, my gosh, maybe I've gone to a different island.
You know, I'm not back in my island, Ithaca.
And it's kind of a moment of real worry for him.
He is very angry.
Yeah, so Poseidon has a long grudge against Odysseus because of the blinding of his son, the Cyclops Polyphemus.
And of course, the Cyclops cursed Odysseus.
So Poseidon takes this very seriously.
The fact that the Phaeacians have done this is seen as a massive insult to him.
Now, Odysseus at this point is, in fact, although he doesn't know it, safely back on Ithaca.
And at this point, Poseidon, I think, as god of the sea, realises that's kind of the end of his jurisdiction.
But what he does do is he takes out his anger against the Phaeacians who helped Odysseus.
And so when their ship gets back into the harbour of the Phaeacians, it's an extraordinary moment where he sort of slams his hand against the side of the ship and it gets turned to stone.
Gosh.
Yeah.
