And it's a really kind of horrible moment of basically kind of him
like interditing this seafaring nation and just sort of... But what's also fun to go back to kind of what you were saying about where real places might be, there are many rocks kind of in the islands around that kind of that area, particularly Corfu, that kind of maybe look like ships and that people have thought, well, maybe that is the kind of rock that people thought was a ship turned into stone.

That's right.
So we are finally now, thanks to the magic ships, we are finally on Ithaca.
And we've kind of just about passed the kind of halfway point of the narrative.
So, you know, as we said, we've got still kind of a good 12 or so books to get us into that point where Odysseus feels like he can kind of be certain enough that he can kind of start to stage the comeback, as it were.
But at this point, he's really got to start gathering his allies around him.
Yeah, well, the first one is a really important divine ally because you've got to get the gods on your side if you're in the ancient world.
And the first one is Athena.
It's Athena.
Yeah.
And so Athena, she's been the patron of Odysseus the whole way through.
We saw her coming into Olympus right at the beginning and making sure that he got freed from Calypso's island.
And it is her now in this second half of the narrative.
who comes to Odysseus personally and basically reveals herself to him, reveals the island.
She lifts the mist off in a kind of beautiful moment of revelation.
And Odysseus suddenly sees that he is back on his homeland of Ithaca again.
