And that's where the fun happens, like that's where the good formulations and and cognitive stuff happen.
So in short, it's a disorder of worst case scenarios that then a person tries to get rid of in a really nonsensical way, has no luck, but they do have a short amount of kind of success.
So they think that's enough to keep on going and then they're stuck looping.
Looping, looping.
And and you know, it's not it's not it I think it's it's clinicians and the general population and it's fed, I think, a lot by the movies and
you know, clubby Kardashian.
So it's not cleaning.
Like I actually don't like it's not that I don't like it, but it's not overly sort of popul popular if that's the right word.
Compulsive cleaning and checking.
Um we generally see O C D that have um
uh sort of like taboo type thoughts, like intrusive thoughts of being murderer murderers or sex offenders or you name it.
So it's not a clean disease.
It's not people that, you know, quote unquote um neat freaks.
It's not people that have to have things lined up.
It's not people that have to be tidy.
It's not people that are perfectionistic or avoidant.
It's not obsessive compulsive personality disorder, it's not GAD.
It's not, you know, all of those things.
