Yeah, there was an article about her in the New Yorker.

I read it.

Yeah.

Is this fraud or is it real?

And so anyway, so here things were kind of quiet except for this one guy, Saul Newman, who is still not, you know, he's still on it.

And he's, he's claiming that everything is fraudulent and pension fraud and the data aren't real whatnot.

Okay.

But then in late 23 and 24,

We started seeing these articles like in The Economist, Science, Nature, New Republic, that were starting to challenge this data about the blue zone saying, oh, you know what?

They didn't get, they didn't verify birth certificates.

And of course, your colleagues like Michelle Pula wrote a paper, hey, you know what?

We went through this really rigorously, three different layers.

How did we get that?

Can you just get that on track?

Because there were a bunch of articles that questioned the veracity of the data of the age of the people.

Why do you think, you know, you got this thing going, you know, 2005 or so, and there wasn't really anybody except for this one guy.

And then all these articles sprung out.

Yeah, well, they sometimes bring up other demographers like Medford or Vaupel or whatever, but you're right.

It's clearly Newman.

I just wonder why it took so long for them to even question.
