My question or really just a statement is probably more for Dr. Frida.
I understand about not wanting to release
a result that you're not finished with, with the toxicology report and all of that.
But what I don't understand is the initial findings, like physical findings outside of toxicology, why can that not at least be shared with the parents and with other people involved?
I just don't understand why they're waiting so long.
I find it cruel when you have parents who are concerned about what is going, what happened to their baby that you could not at least report some sort of preliminary finding the way they just did with this autopsy outside of toxicology.
Like why is toxicology so important as to what happened to this young man?
Why is the toxicology important?
Well, that would be important because you may have heard with some of the people making speculations, they're saying, oh, maybe the guys were drinking or maybe they had some drugs and maybe he passed out.
Speculation.
And so a toxicology report would rule that out or rule that in.
And so toxicology definitely is a very vital part of the information in order to fully understand why Nolan Wells passed away.
As far as why more information is not being presented right now,
From a medical perspective, I don't totally have those answers because I know what you don't want to do is jump out and give false information from me as an individual, as a physician.
There are certain things that are somewhat black and white, like the way that Dr. Mitchell was able to say defensively, there were no broken bones, no fractures.
