I mean, it's par for the course for at least two to three months.
So, I mean, it's a really line ball thing, but I think for most people, if it's brown blood, which kind of tells us it's old and it's not enough to wear a tampon, but just like enough for a panty liner, we'll call that spotting.
Whereas if it feels like a period, that's a full blown bleed.
That's less common on a Mirena, way less common.
But if you're just getting a bit of spotting for the first two to three months, I wouldn't even go and see a GP.
They should have told you to expect that.
And that is completely normal.
