But just because you can't have the ideal doesn't mean that you shouldn't try and do as much as possible to make it better.
And I think, you know, it is that kind of knowledge of, like, your body knows how to die.
You don't, you can't fail this.
Yes, yes.
You know, it knows what's going on, you're just there for the ride.
Yeah.
And if you have that kind of confidence and you're taught that and you're supported through that, then I think dying can be sacred.

That fear often also leads people to distance themselves from the dying person and from their family.
Like, so many people come to me and they say, oh, my, you know, my best friend's dad's just died, or somebody's just died, what do I say to them?
I haven't, I don't know how to reach out to them.
Like, you know, I'm like, well, nothing you can say can really make it worse.
Like, the worst thing that's ever happened to them has already happened.
Yeah.
and maybe you won't get it right, that's okay.
Don't be afraid to be with dying people or don't be afraid to be with grieving people just because you don't know what to say, you're not certain about the right words.
And that's what concerns me is that almost like, as you said, it's that fear, that lack of knowledge that leads to this kind of complete disengagement with death.
