And I think as much as it's hard and it's difficult, if you have been somebody who's had those experiences through birth or through death or whatever it is, if you've seen people go through those moments, it's not that those moments are addictive.
It's just that the other moments just don't seem that important.
Like why would I want to do work that's not about that?
Why would I not want to do work that's not about what makes us human?

And as painful as it is for me to contemplate the people I love dying, my dog dying, like, can't talk about that one.

Why would I want to do anything else?
Like, we're all going to die.
I mean, it's... It sounds terrible, but it can be.
No, well, I sometimes say that death is superlative.
By which I mean, it's like, it's too much of everything.
Right?
It's the funniest and the saddest and the scariest and the most of everything that you're going to go through.
It is the superlative experience, as with birth.
