And I mean, there is something just so comical about some of the situations you get yourself into around death, like...
I mean, I'm probably going to be counseled for all of these.
But I remember when my grandmother died and my grandfather died a decade before her and they had bought this double plot in the cemetery.
But we had all imagined that it was two graves next to each other.

think about was putting grandma on top of grandpa and him being there like how dare you lie on me for the whole time oh i don't know like i remember like you know in this conversation about my dad's coffin and they asked me you know what do you want me to what do you want us to dress him in my dad was a total pragmatist and he would have thought well i'm not bloody there okay yeah
And so the whole idea of, like, putting him in silk pyjamas or something just seems so absurd that it was just so desperately funny.
And so I think that's also because, you know, there's a level of, like, you have to be comfortable with death in order to laugh at it.
The best funeral is a funny funeral.

Like the best eulogy is when, it's always going to be a good eulogy when the best mate stands up.

And it's so close to like the best man speech at a wedding.
It's always like, oh, here we go.
We're going to, you know, we're really going to hear something about Ian.
But that is, I mean, and that's because it's love, right?
You know, I think, yes, I mean, there's a lot of gallows, very literally gallows humor in the industry and a lot of like things that one can never repeat ever again.
But I also think that,
