Like what an absurd thing that we are conscious beings that know we're going to die.

What's going on with that?

I've been thinking about this a lot, right, because people ask me about it.

I think one of the weird things is that a lot of death study scholars change their mind a lot because we're constantly thinking about it.

You learn something else, you're like, oh, I have a bit of that, you know.

So I think that one thing that's really important to me is...

Like, my sensory being in the world.

And I think that's often really important to people at the end of their life.

So for me, like, I'd love to be on this earth for as long as I can eat great food and drink great wine and talk and see and touch and be with my friends and family.

I mean, I can't do that.

I can shuffle off this mortal coil, I think I'm done.

And if possible, I think because I've studied death, I'm actually quite curious about it.

And I'd like to be as conscious as possible for as long as possible, because I'd like to get some answers, finally.

Part two comes out.

It's a posthumous publication.

But then, yeah, I think at this stage I will be cremated.

If that's probably likely, it's probably what's going to happen.
