And it just seemed like a very odd way of deciding to do that.
I mean, most people, if they are very lucky and very privileged in Australia, most people in their lives will organize one or two funerals, right?
The vast majority of people will only ever organize their parents' funerals.
Um, so it's not something we do very frequently.
And as much as I kind of hate saying that I was, my dad's death was a, an opportunity, a gift, you know, I got to encounter that system when I was in my twenties.
And so I've had a lot more time to think about that system and to, I suppose, ask those questions.
Yes.
Than other people do, because people mostly do it when their parents are 90.
Right.
And they've had a career.
Well, that's the kind of, I suppose, the odd thing.
You kind of say everyone's afraid of death.
Yes.
Death is taboo.
No one wants to talk about it.
Yes.
But if you give people the opportunity, if you just give them a little in, a little bit of space, a little bit of a welcome to say, you can ask me anything.
You can ask me any question.
All of a sudden it's like the floodgates open.
