Absolutely.
So, okay, root causes.
So some people all heal, even in the functional medicine space, amyloid isn't the cause of Alzheimer's.
It's inflammation.
It's like, okay, they're both interesting, but what caused the inflammation?
Right?
We want to think about what caused the amyloid cascade to start, what caused the inflammation?
What is microglia is another way that we think about it.
Um, one of my mentors, Dr.
David Perlmutter, is coming out with a book called Brain Defenders this summer.
And it's all about microglia.
gliel activation, what we can do to what turns it on, what what activates it, and then what makes it calm down.
And essentially, we're kind of thinking through that systematically.
What will calm the microglia?
So we don't just want to have a medication that goes in and turns them off, right?
Because there's things that are triggering them.
So what are those triggers?
And I would argue that there's six of them that we can basically dial this in and systematically go through the six causal level, primary level, causal level factors or imbalances that will drive a
neurodegenerative process.
And it's imbalances.
