So it says, this questionnaire asks about problem you may have had after a very traumatic experience involving actual or threatened death.
It could be something that happened to you directly, something you witnessed, or something you learned happened to a close family member or close friend.
Some examples are serious accident, fire, disaster such as hurricane, tornado, or earthquake, physical or sexual attack or abuse, war,
Because you can get PTSD from a friend committing suicide.
I've actually had many participants who still live with the I couldn't do anything about it.
So they say, first, please answer a few questions about your worst event.
And the reason why this questionnaire specifies worst event is because it's sad to say this, but children experience
this early childhood adverse event go on to compound many, many trauma.
So some of my participants endorse about five different type of trauma.
And that's why this questionnaire is telling them, answer a few questions about your worst event, which means the event that currently bothers you the most.
And this could be one example above.
So not only do you write down exactly the event, you write down how long it happened.
You write down if it involved actual death or threat of it or death.
Death could be someone who died or threat could be yourself.
you need to let us know if you witness it happen to you, you learn about it happening to someone else, or you were repeatedly exposed to details, which is what happened with the George Floyd.
