And it's like cycle with four stages, developed, deliver, sustain, whatever, embed.
But it does not contain the sort of the grand, like implementing change is so hard, really, really challenging, even just in your own life, isn't it?
Just like to change something small about your own life is really hard.
changing people's habits in something as large and complex as a school or a trust is really complex.
And, you know, like, for example, with regards to slice teams that we mentioned earlier, in the EEF guidance, it says, oh, it's a good idea to have, you know, a representative change team.
And that's it.
It just says, like, one sentence.
It doesn't say, like...
How does that team get formulated?
Who should be on it?
How do you appoint them?
What does that team look like?
How often do they meet?
What happens?
How are decisions made?
What happens when there's disagreement within the team?
None of that stuff is mentioned.
And that's like everything.
Yeah, I noticed that towards the end of the book, you mentioned about the rethinking schools and they have these change teams and that use implementation science, which is music to my ears, as you can imagine.
So just to go back to this chapter, there's a distinction that you draw from our erstwhile colleague, David Godfrey, about the difference between evidence-based practice and research-informed practice, which I think helps to elucidate it.
